Carolina Sevilla is the founder of Mentality Inc a company that is redefining the future of mental health. Through her groundbreaking mind technologies, she is dismantling the limitations of the traditional mental health industry. With 24 years of expertise in hypnotic states and in deciphering complex mental disorders that mainstream science could not resolve, Carolina pioneered revolutionary systems (The Neural Remodeling System and Conductual Arts) that decode and reconfigures the mind, achieving what science thought impossible. Her mastery in treating the most severe mental conditions like schizophrenia, multiple personalities, catatonia, and other mental illnesses, has allowed her to restore clients to their true selves without a single chemical intervention. From this feat she became known as the ultimate mind hacker.

Carolina’s ability to read mind algorithms with the precision of a top coder has led to the global adoption of her psychological systems by governments, healthcare institutions, corporations, and even the arts and film industries. Our Co Founder and CTO

Dan Mapes Founded VERSES AI (www.verses.ai) which has developed a new type of AI called "Active Inference" AI. Gartner calls this "First Principles AI". This AI provides a direct path to a SAFER form of Artificial General Intelligence (AGI). Active Inference is a form of Natural Intelligence because it is founded on the "Free Energy Principle" which is how sentience emerges in all living things. Dan also Founded and Directs THE SPATIAL WEB FOUNDATION enabling a new Spatial Internet based on the HyperSpace Transaction Protocol - HSTP (Spatialwebfoundation.org) (IEEE Standard P2874). The Spatial Web enables Active Inference AGI to be networked and decentralized globally. This global network functions as an AI ecosystem leading to an ever-evolving "Collective Intelligence".
Applications can range from the very general (Climate Management, etc,) to the very specific (individual health and education applications, etc.) which can be developed by individuals, businesses or governments anywhere.

Dan co-authored the best-selling book - The Spatial Web - and is often a keynote speaker on the impact of AI, Metaverse, Blockchains and the Spatial Web on business and society. Dan was awarded the Flood Fellowship for his PhD studies at UC Berkeley with C.West Churchman (Applied Systems Theory) and Erich Jantsch (Evolutionary Systems Design). He left after two years to apply what he had learned by starting his first company. He is an avid sailor, diver and mountain biker who is also committed to a sustainable environment.

Meet the Team

Ecuadorian graphic designer and researcher with studies in Quito and Montreal, Pablo Iturralde has led Ánima studio for over 30 years, maintaining strong relevance and adaptability to meet diverse client needs in visual communication. His research has resulted in several publications, including the books Duales y Recíprocos, La luz meridiana, and the magazine Retrovisor. He has taught design at various universities and given workshops and lectures across Latin America and Europe. He has also served as an advisor to the Ministry of Education of Ecuador and is currently advising the mayor of Quito.

Dance Director

David Ruiz is a Commercial Engineer graduated from PUCE with over 15 years of experience in the field of dance as a choreographer and dancer. His passion for dance and the arts has led him to significantly contribute to the cultural representation of Ecuador in international competitions in cities such as Miami, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Mexico, and Colombia. He has impacted over 15,000 students and has dedicated his career to empowering communities through dance, promoting mental and physical health. As a partner at the Mambuco Dance Academy, he has choreographed and directed dance troupes for events such as the Ecuador Dance Convention, Ecuador Dancing Fest, and the World Latin Dance Cup. He is a representative and workshop leader specialized in genres such as Salsa and Bachata at national and international congresses. He is also involved in creating, editing, and translating content focused on mental health and well-being, addressing issues of depression, anxiety, and healthy lifestyle. As a content creator in both Spanish and English for the new Saffi app, I have significantly contributed to the development of engaging and accessible material that enhances the user experience. My work includes the conceptualization and production of content that not only informs but also resonates with a diverse audience, ensuring that the app communicates effectively in both languages. This dual approach has facilitated a wider reach and improved the platform’s accessibility for our users.
A Master Practitioner of NLP and a certified Transpersonal Therapist, she guides individuals through transformational processes using experiential and body-based psychotherapy techniques.
Passionate about exploring human consciousness, Diana identifies as a psychonaut, committed to supporting others in their journey toward self-discovery and personal growth.

Pablo Coig has been deeply involved in production and post production of videos for over 20 years, having worked for an extensive list of top-of-the-line clients such as:
Discovery Channel, National Geographic, HBO, USA, MTV, Animal Planet, NBC Universal, ABC, CNN, Gaia, and many more.
Pablo has an extensive understanding of all aspects of the post-production process, including: Motion Graphics, Color Correction, Sound Design, Music and Pacing.
His work includes: broadcast promos, films, trailers, music videos, sizzle reels, commercials, advertising, corporate videos, scripted and reality TV shows.

Founder and CEO

Finance engineer and MBA from IDE Business School in Quito, Ecuador.
She has more than 15 years of experience in the financial area of large Ecuadorian companies related to different industries (banks, automotive, mass consumption, Quito airport, among others). Her financial experience includes financial management, treasury, financial models, financial analysis, project analysis and valuation.
Since 2019, she began a second formal coaching career with companies in Colombia and Argentina and obtained the title of Ontological Coach and Life Coach.
Currently she has supported the Saffi project in its start-up and development phase for the English and Spanish version.

Diana Castellanos is a Commercial Engineer with an International MBA Business and specialized studies in Transpersonal Psychology. She spent over 12 years in banking, leading the development of technology-driven products and projects before transitioning into human and organizational development five years ago.
Her role in Mentality Inc focuses on managing the coordination and progress tracking of projects with external vendors, ensuring seamless communication and timely deliverables. She is also responsible for the thorough review and approval of written content, maintaining high standards of quality and consistency with a therapeutical view.
As a consultant she focused on culture management, emotional intelligence, soft skills and relational dynamics, helping companies foster environments that enhance communication, collaboration and well-being. As a therapist her integral approach includes mind, body, cognitive emotional and energetic psychotherapy techniques.
Passionate about exploring human consciousness, Diana identifies as a psychonaut, committed to supporting others in their journey toward self-discovery and personal growth.
